Adam McNicol, popularly known as Mac^Real, is an independent American singer, songwriter, recording artist, and graphic designer turned entrepreneur. He is the founder of ForeveR Music and MacReal Solutions and the business partner of Herben Influence.

But this wasn’t always a bed of roses for him before he got to where he is now.

This is His Story…

Adam became a husband and a father to three wonderful kids quite early in life. He was living a life of bliss until the tragic 9/11 event happened. For the love of the country, he enlisted in the United States Army just a day after the attack. He was a part of the 82nd Airborne Division and an elite Parachute Infantry Regiment, where he earned numerous awards and badges.

All these made him one of the most highly-decorated veterans that he is today. But life was about to make a painful turn for him. There was no family for him to return home to after performing his duties as all great soldiers would. With a broken heart and marriage, he was enveloped by depression.

He spent most of his time sulking in his own world, trying to put himself together. And just at the time when he thought his life had ended, he heard the song “Hate Me” by the rock band Blue October. Suddenly, he realized it wasn’t the end of the world after all, that he was supposed to build a new life

So, with his love and talent for music, he started a one-person band, doing all the songwriting, singing, recording, editing, and uploading it to YouTube. Thus, ForeveR Music was born.

Adam as an Entrepreneur

The name MacReal began to hit the YouTube airwaves, and as his subscribers grew, he continuously studied how to monetize his new-found business. Applying his talents in mathematics and analytics, he concluded that his YouTube channel grew by 975% in just 36 days.

This tremendous growth reached Facebook and Instagram and are now both monetized. He intends to apply the same strategy to LinkedIn in the next few months. Things started to fall into the right places for Adam as he surpassed the benchmark into becoming a macro-influencer, with over 200,000 followers on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Brands started to approach him, with Herben Influence being the first one, marking his first venture as an entrepreneur. He became the face of the company since then. By applying his influencer and affiliate marketing strategies and his love for music, he successfully merged his digital media brands and integrated them into Herben Influence.

As a result, he increased the company’s visibility exponentially from the first month of the partnership and going. There has been no stopping since then. Herben Influence is now hailed as a premium brand in the clothing industry, with a broad fan base and a steady flow of sales month-over-month.
